Ike Holter wins Windham-Campbell Prize

IKE HOLTER (BFA, Playwriting, ’07) is one of eight recipients of the 2017 Windham-Campbell Prizes.  The award, presented by Yale University, recognized literary achievement or promise. Recipients receive a $165,000 individual prize to support their writing. Congrats, Ike!

Theatre School alum TARELL ALVIN McCRANEY (BFA, Acting, ’03) received the prize in 2013.

Sender, A Red Orchid Theatre, closes 5/29/16. IKE HOLTER (BFA Playwriting program, ’03-’07) is the playwright. McKENZIE CHINN (MFA, Acting, ’11), STEVE HAGGARD (BFA, Acting, ’02), and MARY WILLIAMSON (BFA, Acting, ’08) are in the cast.
