On April 18, 1930 Francois Verdier the Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission (1919-1933) was received at the Elysee Palace by the President of France, Gaston Doumergue and awarded the Legion of Honor. This article appeared in the newspaper: “Le Petit Parisien.”
