Keynote Speakers

This Innovation Day’s morning and afternoon keynote speakers discuss their creative visions towards innovation, collaboration, and community building in the art and music industries.

Martine Kei Green-Rogers
Dean of the Theatre School

She obtained her PhD from the Department of Theatre and Drama at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to studying at UW-Madison, she received her B.A. in Theatre from Virginia Wesleyan College and her M.A. in Theatre History and Criticism from The Catholic University of America.

Her dramaturgical productions include: The Greatest with the Louisville Orchestra, Sweat at the Goodman; Silent Dancer at Salt Lake Acting Company, productions of King Hedley II, Radio Golf, Five Guys Named Moe, Blues for an Alabama Sky, Gem of the Ocean, Waiting for Godot, Iphigenia in Aulis, Seven Guitars, The Mountaintop, Home and Porgy and Bess at the Court Theatre (Chicago, IL)  

She has previously taught at SUNY New Paltz, the University of Utah, Sam Houston State University, and Kenyon College. Her research interests include violence in African American Theatre, African diaspora theatre, gender and race in American theatre, dramaturgy, devising, and issues of sustainability in the theatre.

Presentation Title: Civic Dramaturgies and Global Citizenry: A Transdisciplinary Approach to Art Making

Presentation Description: Dean Green-Rogers will address how the arts and the tools and techniques of the arts are transferable skills that may be applied to numerous disciplines. More specifically, she will address how civic imagination + the arts can be employed to forward the vision and mission of DePaul and create a better society.


Scott Fetters
Director at 2112 Creative Industries Incubator

Scott Fetters began his career in the music industry in 2005 working with the Cutting Edge Music Business Conference and Music Business Institute of New Orleans while attending Tulane University. He joined the Board of Directors of the Chicago Music Commission in 2011, focusing on promoting Chicago as a global music hub and providing resources for local industry growth.  In 2013, he helped launch ChicagoMusic.org through a grant from Boeing, creating a virtual hub for Chicago’s music industry.  He is co-founder and director of 2112, a creative industries incubator and collaborative hub in Chicago. Over the past six years, 2112 has been home to hundreds of businesses in the creative sector, providing intentional community, educational resources, mentorship, and access to capital. In 2020, he founded the Center for Creative Entrepreneurship, expanding 2112’s educational outreach and empowering creatives at all levels with the knowledge, skills, and relationships necessary for business success.  He was also a founding board member of Sharing Notes and currently sits on the Ambassador’s Board of Uniting Voices Chicago. 

Anthony Spina
Co-Founder System Seltzers

Anthony Spina is a highly creative and collaborative beverage leader, with a proven record of success in leading innovative marketing initiatives for nationally recognized organizations. Together with Matt Sievers, he built SYSTEM ELECTROLYTE CHARGED SELTZER – The First Inclusive Drinking System, meant to fill the void in a rapidly changing beverage industry and give choice, control and consciousness to the modern beverage drinker.  Prior work experience has included senior brand manager for White Claw hard seltzer, brand manager for Old Style beer and field + culture marketing for Pabst Blue Ribbon.
