MSAA students Dee Chen, Jae Kim and Elaine Shao had an opportunity to work with Discover Financial Services on an internal audit analytics project as part of Assistant Professor David Wang’s audit analytics class. Students delivered final presentations to Discover management in July. The collaboration with Discover provided a valuable experience for students because the real-world project exposed them to challenges faced by companies and how to approach problems from different perspectives and provide actionable recommendations for operational decisions.
