Thank you for your interest in publishing with EPulse. Please make sure your publication adheres to the substantive and procedural guidelines below to ensure an efficient and swift review of your materials.
EPulse works alongside the Journal of Healthcare Law and the Jaharis Health Law Institute in making salient healthcare news accessible. We seek topics that are timely, topical, and important. For instance, the release of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health precipitated submissions about the role of pharmacists, menstruation tracking companies, and whose reliance interests matter when reconsidering precedent. That said, just because a topic is not in the news does not make it unworthy of publication. EPulse has shed light on invisible violence like the medicalization of homelessness and inadequate access to menstruation products in prisons.
Submissions should be 500-1500 words with citations. Before you submit, please review your submission for grammar and spelling errors. Given the structure of our blog, we require hyperlinked citations, rather than footnotes. However, if you only cite to one source, you do not need to link the same study repeatedly if you flag that you are only relying on that particular source. If you cite to a specific case, you do not need to include the reporter citation, only an accessible link to the decision.
When you submit a blog post, please have the subject line of your email and attachment be “Last Name – Topic,” so for example, “Smith — Reliance Interests.”
Thank you for taking the time to submit to EPulse, we look forward to reading your submission.
