DePaul Accounting Professor David Wang Becomes Fulbright Specialist

Associate Professor David Wang has recently been accepted into the Fulbright Specialist Program, sponsored by the United States Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. In his new role as a specialist he will develop data analytics for accounting and auditing programs around the world.

The Fulbright Specialist Program gives U.S. professionals and academics the opportunity to share their knowledge and gain international experience by working on collaborative projects with their peers at overseas host institutions. The program involves 49 bi-national Fulbright commissions and 107 U.S. embassies and consulates, and lasts between two to six weeks.

Wang is the second most productive accounting information systems archival researcher, according to BYU Accounting Researcher rankings. An accounting information systems expert, he is regularly invited to be a visiting professor and workshop speaker by major research institutions around the country.
