Fall 2023 Internship Opportunity

Youth Services in Glenview, IL 60026 is accepting internship applications for Fall 2023. Intern Application for Westmont High School

The Counseling Director at Westmont High School would like to extend an opportunity for any potential school counseling interns to apply to Westmont High School for the 2023-2024 school year.

Westmont is looking for candidates who would be able to dedicate approximately 3 days a week to their school counseling internship between August 2023 and May 2024. Additionally, they would also like to offer a practicum site to the same student looking to complete 25-100 hours in May/June 2023.

Counseling Fellowships & Scholarships Available

The deadline is quickly approaching for students interested in applying for the 2023 National Board for Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Program (NBCC MFP) and NBCC Foundation military and rural scholarships. MFP Fellowships

Ninety (90) doctoral- and master’s-level counseling fellowships are available for current counseling students.

Fellowship award amounts range from $10,000 to $20,000 and include fellowships in the following categories:

  • Up to 20 doctoral fellowships for counselor education and supervision students
  • Up to 30 master’s fellowships for mental health counseling students
  • Up to 40 master’s fellowships for addiction counseling students

The MFP is made possible by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and is administered by the NBCC Foundation. The MFP for addiction counseling fellowships are administered by the NBCC Foundation in collaboration with NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.

MaineStay Internship in Park Ridge

MaineStay Youth & Family Services in Park Ridge is now accepting applications from Master’s students interested in a counseling internship for 2023-2024. They will be starting interviews in January.
