This activity could be great for a first Service Immersion pre-trip meeting, or another introductory space. Its goal is to help everyone feel comfortable, and to get to know each other’s passions, history, and experiences.

What you need:

• Paper to draw on
• Markers 

Ask participants to draw what ‘home’ means to them.

Encourage participants to draw on their senses: What does home feel like? Smell like? Taste like? Look like? The idea of home can go well beyond brick and mortar, so use this space to get creative and express home! After 5-7 minutes or once everyone is finished, invite participants to share.  Not everyone has to share if they don’t want to, but most people love talking about this topic; it’s close to the heart!
