Weekly Meetings: The Student Sustainability Committee
Every Monday from 4:30-6pm | Arts and Letters 102
The Student Sustainability Committee (SSC) is an independent group of diverse students with a passion for Sustainability, social, and environmental justice and that will work alongside the Just DePaul team and the President’s Sustainability Committee to 1) think about and implement solutions that DePaul University can make to further and develop the sustainable efforts on campus, 2) increase awareness around ethical, sustainable choices and solutions within the student body of environmental issues on both a local and global scale, 3) to amplify active efforts at DePaul and student voices for social and environmental justice.

Climate Action Plan: Sustainability Network Weaving- Loop and LPC
What is a Climate Action Plan (CAP)? How can it help DePaul address equitable sustainability and help us understand where to improve? What can we learn from local and national CAP exemplars? Join the conversation and network weave with sustainability stewards from DePaul and beyond—hosted in the Loop (hybrid) and Lincoln Park campuses (Trimodal). *Please note that the LPC Meeting is moved to Arts & Letters 102*

Sustainability Network Weaving
February 21st 2024 | 4:30-6:00 PM
In our Sustainability Network Weaving meeting, our focus will be on food waste issues at DePaul and around Chicagoland. This discussion will include talk about single-use plastics and food waste in universities. We will be meeting directly with representatives from Chartwells and the Seton Food Kitchen. LPSC 220
Winter Network Weaving Event

Just DePaul’s Migration Network Weaving Event

At this event, we want to connect various parts of our DePaul community, share/combine resources, and make a plan with actionable steps on how to assist migrant families, and communities, and increase our effectiveness together. Lincoln Park Student Center Room 314A.
Just DePaul’s Sustainability Celebration

Hosted by Just DePaul, this is a celebration to honor sustainability and learn more about what we can do to be more sustainable in our community. With tables featuring games, sustainable information, and prizes.
The Hale Sustainability Conference
April 25, 2023 (9AM – 3PM)
The 2nd annual Hale Sustainability Conference will feature tables from both internal and external organizations, student speakers, and expert panels. Panelists discussed a wide variety of sustainable initiatives.
