Visit Campus

Did you know that there are over 100 neighborhoods in Chicago? 100! DePaul is fortunate to be a part of two great neighborhoods: Lincoln Park and the Loop. But it is more than being located in Chicago.

DePaul is an “anti-bubble” university, meaning that we believe that your college experience shouldn’t begin and end without leaving campus. DePaul is a community of future leaders committed to making our communities, city and world better than where we found it…and you can’t always find everything you need within the confines of a traditional classroom.

We use Chicago as our classroom, and are proud to be a part of the city while still maintaining our own unique identity.

So come visit us. We have information sessions and tours weekly, and other events throughout the year.

Our Visit DePaul page has information on upcoming events and scheduling visits, or complete this form to request more information.

Sarah’s Story

Major: Health Sciences | Minor: Spanish

I specifically remember my first visit to DePaul. Chicago is such a different place than where I grew up in Northeast, Amish-country Ohio and I was mesmerized by the hustle and bustle of the city and the distinct beauty of Lincoln Park.

Going into the visit, I did not really know what to expect – it was one of my first college tours I had ever taken. I remember walking around campus and hitting all of the most important places: a residence hall, the Student Center, the Ray, and the library. The moment that really hit me was when we were standing in the middle of the Quad. Students were walking to class, throwing Frisbees, and relaxing on the grass in the warm, September sun. Community members were out with their dogs or walking behind their kids who were riding bikes. Life was swirling around me in so many forms and I remember thinking that this was someplace I could see myself spending the next four years of my life.

I am so glad that I listened to my first instinct and decided to come to DePaul. The memories, friends, adventures, and successes I have had because of this school are countless and I love hearing stories of other students who have experienced the same as me. I so encourage you to visit DePaul because you will experience some of the best four years of your life at this school!
