This time aware application displays time-enable earthquakes and hurricanes layers in a web map using a time slider. This app allows users to visualize the natural disaster, the earthquake and hurricane changes in the data during the period of time from January 1st, 2000 to January 1st, 2009. The time slider is adjustable to display the temporal earthquake or the hurricane spots on the map according to the time interval, which is set at a 6-month interval. You can press the “play” button to run the animation, as you will see the change of earthquake and hurricane within 6-month from 2000 to 2009.
