Pet Wellbeing

Much like other pet owners, I pay close attention to my dog’s health. He’s a 10-year-old shih tzu who still thinks he’s only a puppy. The older he gets, the more of a helicopter-pet-owner I become. Since pets don’t live as long as humans, we often worry about their health a little more than we should just because they’re our best friends.

My dog hasn’t had too many health concerns, but the ones he’s had put me through a worrying frenzy. I’m always questioning my mom if she should take him to the vet when the slightest thing is wrong. Since I live in the city and have an apartment here for college, the dog stays with my mom and I miss him dearly.

My dog has had allergic reactions to certain products. The reactions were scary because we only had him for about five months. This was back when he was a puppy; I was only 11 and I tried to do as much research as I could to understand what was going on.

Pet Wellbeing is a brand that caters to pets will all-natural products. Their products are made with plants and herbs, which means you won’t have to worry about your pet having a bad reaction to any suspect ingredients, much like my dog did.

Products

Pet Wellbeing has two pages of products that are suitable for cats and dogs. I don’t know much about cats, but what I do know is that they’re probably just as sensitive to certain ingredients as dogs are. After my dog’s allergic reaction, I never wanted to use anything on him again. However, Pet Wellbeing has lots of natural products I would look into.

One product that strikes my interest is their ointment for dogs and cats called Itchy Owie Ointment. I think this would benefit any dog or cat in the summer when mosquitoes get intense after rain. Nothing is worse than seeing your dog or cat constantly paw at a mosquito bite and know that they don’t understand why they’re so itchy.

Their Old Friend for Senior Dogs & Cats product would also benefit my dog due to his age. It helps with their joints, energy, immune system, and a few more. This is something I would like to look into for my senior citizen of a dog.
