The hallmark of higher education in general, and DePaul in particular, is its ability to continuously evolve to meet the needs of the students, and to incorporate different approaches to address the pressing issues of the day. Each field of study provides a unique and valuable approach to enriching our collective ability to change the world.

DePaul’s 6th annual Innovation Day will provide a forum to reimagine, refresh and revitalize the work we do across academic units.  It will celebrate the work that is underway, and more importantly, will provide the opportunity to tap into each other’s expertise to unleash the creativity that results through collaboration.

Whether you are an attendee, a panelist or a speaker, your contribution is important to making today’s event a catalyst for meaningful change, and I am grateful for your dedication to shaping a better future for our community and the world.

Organizing Committee

It is with the greatest pleasure that we welcome you to the Sixth Annual DePaul Innovation Day. We hope that you will find the meeting informative and helpful in the following ways: sharing ideas and best practices for innovations and collaborations, learning about new initiatives, networking and community building.

This year’s annual celebration focuses on reimagining, refreshing, and revitalizing your research and creative activities, teaching, and/or department. This gathering is an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues, share insights, and explore innovative strategies, practices, and solutions. Together, we will engage in dynamic discussions and collaborative activities designed to foster creativity and drive meaningful change. Whether you’re looking to enhance your current methods or explore new approaches, this event will provide valuable resources and networking opportunities to help you succeed.

We wish to thank the presenters and staff for all the hard work to make the 2025 DePaul Innovation Day a success. We especially wish to thank Provost Salma Ghanem for all her advice, encouragement, and shared vision for innovation at DePaul. We also thank the Office of University Events for the support in streamlining the meeting logistics.

Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can help make this meeting even more successful and productive.

Sincerely, The Innovation Day Organizing Committee
