What it’s like to be DePaul Bumble Honey!

This past year I’ve had the opportunity to represent Bumble on DePaul’s campus and on my social media pages! You may have seen us Honeys passing out flowers or merch on the quad to spread the Bumble Buzz!

Bumble is a women-founded dating app that encourages women to make the first move! Through this role, my main goal is to build brand awareness on campus and encourage safe dating practices! This job has been an incredible resume-building experience and I’ve truly loved connecting with my fellow students! This role has helped me grow as a young professional and prepared me for a marketing career after college!

Through this position, I was selected to be an assistant for the Bumble Honey Instagram content calendar. My ultimate career goal is to work in Social Media Marketing, and I have completed a few internships in this field. Having the opportunity to assist on such a large account and known brand has been super exciting and great practice!

As a Bumble Honey, I’ve built friendships with other Honeys from DePaul and other Illinois campuses! This community has been extremely supportive and encouraging! Everyone has the same goal in mind: spread love and positivity!

We’ve been able to bond together by collaborating on hosting super fun events on campus and in downtown Chicago! We pass out awesome merch and encourage students to download the app and make connections! These are such a fun way for Chicago students to meet each other across campuses and build bonds!

Overall, I’ve loved this opportunity to work with Bumble and I have gained so much valuable knowledge through my role as a Honey! Take this as your sign to spread some positivity today!
