Student Discounts at DePaul
One of the perks of being a college student in Chicago is being able to take advantage of the student discounts that are offered all around the city. Typically, these discounts range from about 10% – 20% which can really add up after some time. Through DePaul, you can obtain discounted tickets to events and performances throughout the year, as well as $8.50 movie tickets at AMC Theatres; one of my personal favorites to take advantage of!
Aside from discounts offered through DePaul, many businesses around Chicago offer student discount, such as The Art Institute, Chicago History Museum, The Field Museum, Chicago Cultural Center, as well as a plethora of restaurants and retail spots. Additionally, college students are eligible for discounts at Apple (5% off most purchases), Adobe, Dell and Microsoft.
Around campus, some businesses that offer a student discount include Jam ‘n Honey, Cafecito, Broken English, Old Grounds Social, Dunkin’, Chicago’s Dog House, Café Ba-Ba-Reeba, amongst many more! Not all businesses make a note of their student discount, so the best way to find out if a business offers a discount is to ask. It never hurts and could end up saving you some cash!
