DePaul Student Activities: The Art Institute of Chicago
Come with me to the Art Institute of Chicago! Located on 111 S Michigan Ave, it’s the perfect way to view some unique art pieces from all over the world, both ancient and modern. My favorite section is the European Art wing, there is just so much detail in each painting and I find new things every time. There are also tons of pieces from Chicago artists and I love that the city takes pride in all the creativity found here. The best part is that DePaul students get free admission! All you have to do is show your DePaul ID (both physical and digital IDs work) at the ticket counter, and then you’re good to go. It is open every day besides Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and they always have new exhibits so make sure to check it out at least once this summer!
