Frosty Fun: A DePaul Holiday Giveaway

To bring a little cheer to the end of the year, DePaul unwrapped our first annual holiday giveaway for prospective students! From December 11th to the 15th, we gave away FIVE fabulous prizes on FIVE holly-licious days! It’s the kind of excitement that makes you wonder, “Is this real life, or did someone slip some extra sugar into my peppermint mocha?”

From cozy DePaul gear to a pair of APPLE AIRPODS MAX (yes really!), each day was a new chance for prospective students to grab some goodies and feel the DePaul-i-day spirit. You can check out the prizes below!

MONDAY – A WINDFALL OF DEPAUL GEAR

It’s one thing to look good around campus, but when you’re cheering on our Blue Demons in the Big East, who have made over 40 NCAA championship appearances over the last ten years, you need to look great. To help our newest Blue Demons look the part, we gave away a bundle of DePaul fits! From cozy hoodies to stylish tees, this ultimate DePaul swag collection will help our lucky winner make their DePaul debut!

TUESDAY – DEPAUL’S GLOBAL INFLUENCES

We’re in Chicago, a global city, with influences from around the world. New students might experience these ideas in our classrooms, through our 3-day European entrepreneurship summit in our business school, or in one of our 80+ study abroad programs – that happen in over 35 different countries. To give our prospective students a taste of this international city, Tuesday we gave away snacks from around the world!

WEDNESDAY – A DOUBLE FEATURE OF GAMING AND MOVIES

Whether you love blockbuster movies or immersive video games, DePaul’s Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media has you covered with their top-tier cinema, design, and computing programs — and with Wednesday’s giveaways! To celebrate this incredible school, we were thrilled to give our winner: 1) a private movie screening for up to 10 people at DePaul’s Jarvis Holiday Screening Room, and 2) a Steam gift card for $100 to spend on their favorite games!

THURSDAY – CHICAGO IS DEPAUL’S KIND OF TOWN

Can you believe it? Friday was the last day of our giveaway, and we saved the best for last! Sometimes at college, you just need some peace and quiet. To help our future Blue Demons drown out their roommate’s TikTok sessions, review their notes from neuroscience class, or get wrapped up in this city’s jazz, we gave away a pair of APPLE AIRPODS MAX (yes, we really did!) to one lucky (and newly sound-proofed) winner.
