As you may know, April not only offers the showersđŚ that bring May flowersđ, but also đ˘ACTION CAMP APPLICATION SEASONđ˘!!
For folks who are new to the Action Camp party, Action Camp is a weeklong sleep-away camp đ for rising 8th-12th grade LGBTQ+ đ youth leaders to live and learn in community with each other and with fierce Youth Leaders who spend all summer đ working to create programming for the week.
This year’s camp will occur Monday, July 29 – Friday, August 2, with counselors arriving on Sunday, July 28. Applications for campers and counselors alike will remain open until 9:00 pm on Sunday, April 30.
As will be stressed throughout the application process, especially for the open-ended questions, WE WANT YOU TO BE YOURSELF!! Action Camp is not an English class, and our anti-oppression values donât align with grammar or syntax rules; what is most important to us is that each applicantâs passion, hopes, and dreams shine through!
