CMHC Internship Opportunity – Josselyn Center
Josselyn Center is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 internship year. Interested students can review the website and submit a cover letter and resume as part of the Clinical Internship Inquiry Form at the bottom of the internship page. Although there are multiple locations, the main locations where they are looking to place interns are Waukegan or Grayslake- there are no more spaces for the Northbrook location. The Waukegan Metro stop is walking distance to the offices. Due to growing Spanish speaking needs of clients in those areas, bi-lingual students are strongly encouraged to apply.
As a part of the internship experience, Josselyn Center offers interns one hour of individual supervision, one hour of clinical group supervision, and one hour of administrative supervision every week, in addition to the open case consultation groups and CEU programs. Interns will receive the same supervision and training in all locations. Interested students with questions can reach out to Thomas Tharayil at ttharayil@josselyn.org.

Dissertation Survey Participant Needed
Dear Potential Participant,
As a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision Program at Liberty University, I am conducting research as part of the requirement for a doctoral degree and to better understand the experiences master’s students have at their practicum and internship sites. The purpose of my research is to gather descriptive information and examine the experiences of master’s level counseling students at their practicum and internship sites, and I am writing to invite you to join my study.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older, either currently enrolled in or having recently graduated from a currently CACREP-accredited Counseling Program, and have fully completed the practicum class requirements. Participants will be asked to take an anonymous, online survey. It should take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete the procedure listed. Participation will be completely anonymous, and no personal, identifying information will be collected.
To participate, please click here complete the survey.
A consent document is provided as the first page of the survey. The consent document contains additional information about my research. Because participation is anonymous, you do not need to sign and return the consent document unless you would prefer to do so. After you have read the consent form, please proceed to the survey. Doing so will indicate that you have read the consent information and would like to take part in the study.
Participants will have the option to be entered in a raffle at the completion of the survey to receive one of three $20 Amazon gift cards.
Sincerely,
Emily Norris, LPC
