Volunteer and Part-Time Opportunities – Minds Matter Chicago

Minds Matter Chicago is looking to engage with more students or alums from the Counseling Program at DePaul, as they think their perspective and expertise are a great match with their mission and focus on college access. They are currently looking for support in a couple of different ways:
(1) Program Director: This is a volunteer position, with a responsibility to co-leading a class of mentors and high school students through a set curriculum, which varies for the sophomore, junior, or senior classes. This is a great way to meet other adult volunteers and play a huge role in the success of the students in our program.
(2) Program CoordinatorThis is a part-time, paid position, and its scope includes being present at our Saturday sessions (10am-4pm) and being actively involved in student recruitment and onboarding. This would be $20/hour and 20 hours/month.

Job Opportunity – BGF Children’s Therapy

Please see below for a message from Nicole Cissell, Clinical Director at BGF Children’s Therapy, regarding available positions:

Hello!

I am the Clinical Director at BGF Children’s Therapy. We provide in-home and center-based behavior therapy for children diagnosed with Autism. I am reaching out because we are searching for individuals to work one on one with the children we serve during this summer and into Fall 2024. Ideal candidates are working on their Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field and have some experience with children. We train our staff in behavior analytic principles and the skills necessary to work with children diagnosed with Autism. We have hired students from DePaul in the past and have been very happy with their work and dedication. Hourly rates range from $20-$25, depending on experience.

If you know of any students who might be interested, please provide them with my contact information. Students can email (nicole@bgftherapy.com) or call (312-806-7937).
