The non-profit organization AITCOY (Association of Illinois Township Committees on Youth) is offering a $1000 scholarship available to graduate students studying counseling, so feel free to pass this information onto your current students as well. Participants Needed for Study Exploring Colorism in Higher Education

PARTICIPANTS NEEDED

Title of Study: Up Against a Paper Bag: Colorism in Higher Education (#22-096)

You may be eligible if you: identify as a Black American woman, graduate student, 21 years or older, currently enrolled in a CACREP Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Counseling, Education and Supervision program in a Midwestern university in the United States, and with a minimum of 9 credit hours.

This study aims to examine the impact of perceived colorism and discrimination on academic achievement in higher education. This study is seeking 200 participants to complete an online survey. Participation in this survey will require approximately one hour and can be completed online at your convenience. If you are interested, please visit Informed Consent to complete the survey.
