Dear Students,
The Schweitzer Fellowship is continuing to recruit graduate students in health, social service, and public interest professions to apply for the 2025-2026 Schweitzer Fellowships. The application for the Fellowship is now open here.
The Schweitzer Fellowship is a prestigious year-long service-learning program for graduate students who design and implement innovative direct-service projects aimed at improving the health and well-being of divested Chicago area communities. Annually, they select 26 graduate students from diverse fields to become Fellows who will design and implement direct service projects in collaboration with community organizations. They are seeking DePaul University, Counseling and Special Education students to join the next cohort. In addition to the service projects, the Program includes supportive mentors, monthly meetings with other graduate students focused on humanitarian contributions, events and trainings. Fellows receive a $2,750 stipend for their participation.
