Illinois School Counselor Association Announcement (NCAA – Counselor Training Free)

The NCAA Eligibility Center is excited to share ‘A High School Counselor’s Tutorial’ with the NCAA Eligibility Center. This asynchronous course will prepare school counselors to advise student-athletes as they navigate the initial-eligibility process and provide much needed education on the Eligibility Center processes for high schools, many of which are managed by school counselors.

This course, created with CACREP-accredited Butler University, will result in a certificate with clock hours that many school counselors will be able to use to renew their licenses. They are also in the process of applying to be a professional development provider in several states. Finally, this course is FREE to school counselors!
