Kenneth Young Center (KYC) will begin accepting applications for their Master’s Level internship starting December 16^th. They will be hosting their first round of interviews on January 17^th and will be hosting a second round of interviews in February. In order to apply, students can go to www.kennethyoung.org -> Careers->Internship Information and find the link for our internship job posting/application. KYC asks that students complete the application and submit their resume and cover letter. Students can reach out to internshipprogram@kennethyoung.org if they encounter any technical difficulties. KYC will respond to students via email or phone regarding their acceptance for an interview, but we will not do so until early/mid January.

Kenneth Young Center offers several different clinical opportunities for training (Child and Adolescent Outpatient, Adult Outpatient, SASS, Mobile Crisis Response, Living Room, Intensive Recovery Group, Community Support Therapy, and Transition Teams ) and internships run from August to May. Each requires a minimum of twenty hours per week.

Josselyn Center is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 internship year. Interested students can review the website and submit a cover letter and resume as part of the Clinical Internship Inquiry Form at the bottom of the internship page. Although there are multiple locations, the main locations where they are looking to place interns are Waukegan or Grayslake. Due to growing Spanish speaking needs of clients in those areas, bi-lingual students are strongly encouraged to apply.

As a part of the internship experience, Josselyn Center offers interns one hour of individual supervision, one hour of clinical group supervision, and one hour of administrative supervision every week, in addition to the open case consultation groups and CEU programs. The Relationship Therapy Center in Eagan, Minnesota has opened their application process for their 2025 fellowship program. The early bird application deadline is December 31st and their in person interview is on January 31st. Both Fellowship options are designed to generate highly competent therapists who will 1) have an opportunity to fulfill the supervision and clinical contact hour requirements for full licensure in the state of Illinois, and 2) put themselves in a great position to receive offers to become full-time Clinic team members once the Fellowship has been completed if they demonstrate excellence during the Fellowship.

We will begin reviewing applications on January 15, 2025, and begin interviewing applicants in early February.  The two-year fellowships typically begin July 1st each year with some flexibility if needed. (If you already have your full license, you may be eligible to start a one-year fellowship sooner).
