Provide professional counseling and therapeutic services to assess, diagnose and treat mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. Graduate interns identify training goals to meet academic requirements or for program completion. Associate (post-graduate) therapists work with a supervisor to outline training goals including certification completion or meeting licensure requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have or currently be in pursuit of a Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology or other psychology field with related coursework in clinical issues as defined by the DSM-V.
- Must have availability to attain and maintain a caseload that supports continuity of care and engagement in weekly supervision.
- Must commit to a minimum service period to maintain ethical, quality care.
- Must demonstrate willingness and ability to adhere to all standards of practice outlined by the APA, Illinois State Licensing Board, and other professionally relevant psychological bodies under the direction of the supervising clinician.
Compensation
Graduate interns receive academic credit. Pre-licensed therapists are compensated according to a revenue percentage split.
