CYN Counseling Center is currently interviewing to fill internship positions for the 2023-2024 year. When students apply, they are required to forward the following documents as part of their application:

•            Three letters of recommendation

•            Professional resume

•            Letter of interest

•            Unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts

Additionally, because we are located in the far northern suburbs and see clients at a variety of locations, we require interns to have reliable personal transportation. We would be interested in second or third year students.

Our interns are required to attend mandatory clinical meetings from 10:30-12 p.m. every Tuesday. Additionally, they attend group supervision every other Tuesday from 12:15-1 p.m. An hour of individual weekly supervision is also provided.

The agency hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. No weekend hours are available.

We are accepting submissions currently and will continue until we fill the available positions (anticipated at a minimum of four and a maximum of six).
