The Muslim Women Resource Center, a social services agency located in the diverse Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, is hiring licensed clinical social workers, counselors, &/or psychologists for their Afghan New Arrivals Wellness & Integration Program. MWRC is looking for motivated and compassionate therapists to serve this HIGH NEED population. Moreover, the therapists will be joining a wonderful team that has been at the forefront of the Afghan refugee crisis in Chicago.

To answer a common question: applicants do not have to be of the Muslim faith nor do they have to speak Pashto or Dari. MWRC has a strong Afghan American staff that will provide cultural guidance for this unique community, as well as an interpretation department that will provide translation for the therapists.
