“Along the Path is a small private practice located in Rockford, Illinois. We have been serving the community since 2009. We offer telehealth and in office sessions for our clients. We have a solid reputation in the community of being responsive to our clients’ needs and providing quality mental health counseling.
Our mission is to empower people to unlock their full potential. This is true for both the clients that seek our services and the clinicians at the practice.
We strive to provide excellent counseling by continuing to hone our clinical skills. This is done through collaboration, supervision and ongoing education. Our monthly case consultations with our supportive team challenge clinicians to expand and strengthen their clinical skills. Counselors are encouraged to specialize but we also fully appreciate and expect that their focus will evolve over time. Clinical Director, Jason Peckels, LCPC, provides weekly triadic and/or one-to-one supervision. Current and past counselors have found supervision to be challenging and the discussions that ensue to be thought provoking.
I frequently meet with the group so that clinicians are keyed in about our policies and procedures at the practice. Furthermore, clinicians have administrative support; aiding in billing, collections, and intakes as well as facilitating networking and promotional opportunities.”
