Wellness Wednesday: Micro-goals

This week’s Wellness Wednesday tip focuses on setting more realistic resolutions, or micro-goals. Many external influences can throw a wrench in our plans, so it is important to remain open and flexible with your goals and resolutions. Instead of having an all-or-nothing mindset, having a list of micro-goals can be beneficial for your wellness. Micro-goals that are more realistic, flexible, and attainable can boost your confidence, achievement, and overall health and wellness!

Grad School Deconstructed Podcast

Students, we invite you to check out “Grad School Deconstructed” – a podcast that explores the trials and tribulations of graduate school in a new and innovative way.

Stephanie Marder and Phoenix Mussalow (both students at Kent State University) share personal experiences, welcome various guests, and interact with you, the listeners, as they dismantle, consider, and reconstruct the grad school experience from a student’s perspective.

We invite listeners to call the PodTalk Network phone (937) 756-5140 and leave messages about their own expectations of graduate school and how GSD can tailor episodes to give our listeners what they want out of their GSD experience.

Check out their latest episode: GSD017 – Grad Students of the Pandemic

In this episode of GSD we invite Gina Martin to join us in discussing the idea of personal growth while in grad school. We examine how the range of the challenges we face in our lives not only impact but possibly enhance our grad school experience. Where are those opportunities for growth? Let’s find them together!! Let’s talk all things Grad School!!
