CET Spring Quarter

Welcome back to DePaul! We hope everyone had a safe and healthy break! Zixuan Huang

Zixuan Huang is a Graduate Assistant for The Center for Educational Technology at the College of Education. He is also a Ph.D. student in Curriculum Studies at DePaul University. He is an international student from China.
He enjoys his work and study on campus. In the future, he wants to be an educator and involved in research that improves the quality of education. Zixuan believes technology is important and will continue to play a major role in education in the future. In his free time, he likes going to the gym and work out or watching movies.

James Valles


james vallesJames Vallès is Graduate Assistant for the Center for Educational Technology at DePaul University in Chicago. He is deeply involved in the field of Computer Science. Valles is currently a Graduate student in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, he currently serves as an MS Computer Science Student Ambassador for CDM, the Communication Chair for IEEE Region 4 (SAC), and a Google Student Innovator for the Google Cloud Platform.

Some of his areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, specifically Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Data. Valles is passionate about Software Engineering and learning about all things tech and innovation.

Valles, who is fluent in Spanish, previously produced and hosted a daily tech segment, which aired on ABC/FOX in Georgia. He is a member of IEEE, the Association for Computing Machinery, and is dedicated to coding for good.
