I am a linguist and associate professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern Languages at DePaul University, where I am also the director of the Spanish Program and the Linguistics Program.
I conduct research on bilingualism, using quantitative methods from experimental syntax and psycholinguistics to shed light on the nature of bilingual language knowledge, and I teach linguistics and Spanish language.
