AI in Teaching

Guided by its mission, DePaul is committed towards purposely integrating AI into teaching. The approach is to be selective and informed, ethically improving student learning outcomes. To these ends, the DePaul AI Institute has collaborated with faculty and staff on events and resources that showcase effective use of AI in teaching.

AI in Teaching Symposiums

AI in Teaching Symposium
DePaul has offered AI in Teaching Symposiums since May of 2024. These symposiums are opportunities for DePaul faculty and staff to share and see how their colleagues have successfully utilized an AI activity or assignment into their teaching. For each symposium, faculty members are selected to present their AI in teaching use-cases. These use-cases are quick, simple, direct demonstrations that can be easily adopted in other courses at the university (or at other institutions). Select the presentation title to watch the video and access associated resources.
